What Can You Do In Four Hours?
You Can Make a Difference!
Center for Hospice Care needs volunteers in St. Joseph, LaPorte, Elkhart, LaGrange, Starke, Marshall, Kosciusko, Fulton and Porter Counties. The next Volunteer Training is at the end of June. Volunteers are needed for many different opportunities:
·Patient Home Visitor
·Extended Care Facility Visitor
·Inpatient Unit
- Licensed Hair Stylists and Barbers
- Licensed Massage Therapists
- Veteran Volunteers
- Therapy Certified Pet Visitors
- Hospitality Volunteers
- Patient Home Assistance
- Spanish Speaking Volunteers
Training is comprehensive and will prepare volunteers for various opportunities. To register for the upcoming training, volunteers must first apply and schedule a meeting with the Volunteer Recruitment and Training Coordinator. Volunteers need to attend all the training dates listed unless otherwise informed by the Volunteer Recruitment and Training Coordinator. Next Training dates are:
June 17, 19, 24 from 9:00am to Noon and
June 26 from 9:00am to 3:00pm
