Greg Conrad as New CEO
Elkhart County, IN - Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County Board of Directors announced Greg Conrad as the new CEO and executive director.
Habitat for Humanity’s board chair Braden McCormick shared, “On behalf of the entire Board of Directors for the Elkhart County Affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, I am excited to announce the hiring of Greg Conrad as our newest Executive Director. Greg recently finished a nearly 40-year career in the healthcare industry and felt a strong attachment to the vision and mission that Habitat represents. His leadership and experience will provide the staff, volunteers and the entire Habitat community a well-defined path forward for continued success.”
Conrad has experience in healthcare administration, community and government relations, finance, and operational management for the past 28 years at Beacon Health System. In addition, he has served on numerous community boards and committees.

Founded in 1986, Habitat has built over 200 new homes in Elkhart County. Habitat is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seek to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities, and hope.
